Women's volleyball remain undefeated
(Saint John, NB) The Seawolves women's volleyball secured a huge win against the Holland College Hurricanes, maintaining their perfect record of 8-0 as they progress through the 2024-25 season.
The Hurricanes came out strong and took the first set 26-24. A key to their early success was Morgan White, who led the team with 14 kills and 10 digs. Defensively, Erica Correard was a standout player with 14 digs, putting pressure on the Seawolves.
The Seawolves responded in the next three sets, taking them 25-22, 25-23 and 25-18. Sydney Flower was a key player for the Seawolves in the turnaround after the first set, with 13 kills. Emily Robichaud also made an impact for the Seawolves, matching Flower's 13 kills and 16 digs.
Head coach Colin Chambers is happy with the strong start the Seawolves are having, saying, "I think that's the result of the strong commitment of the athletes to working together. They have good team chemistry; everyone is pulling together, and that's making everyone better."
NEXT: With the win, the Seawolves continue to lead the standings and will be on the road next weekend.
