The Holland College Hurricanes edged the UNB Saint John Seawolves 1–0 in a tightly contested ACAA matchup.
Holland broke through in the 37th minute when Kristyn Taylor scored off an assist from Karissa George. The Hurricanes totalled nine shots and five on goal, testing Seawolves goalkeeper Casey Grant-Spin, who finished with four saves.
UNBSJ responded with 11 shots and three corners of their own. Scarlette McDonald struck the crossbar early, while Isabel Milutin, Grace Gordon, and Ashley Carpentier forced stops from Holland's defence. Goalkeeper Yuki Komine turned away every Seawolves chance to secure the clean sheet.
Both sides traded fouls and substitutions late as UNBSJ pressed for an equalizer, but Holland's defence held firm to take the victory.
