Natasha Kelly

Bio

Kelly worked as the Campus Recreation and Sport Clubs Program Coordinator prior to becoming the Varsity Coordinator thus giving her a balanced and experienced perspective about all Athletics programs and facilities.

Kelly also has considerable and valuable experience hosting CCAA National Championships. She chaired the UNB Saint John hosted 2013 CCAA Men’s Soccer National Championship and the 2011 CCAA Women’s Volleyball National Championship. As well, she played a prominent role in six UNB Saint John hosted ACAA Championships in the last few years. These experiences put her near the top for hosting experience and will serve the Seawolves program well in the future as hosting opportunities arise.

Kelly already has experience around the ACAA table, serving as the ACAA Soccer Convenor and having contact with CCAA colleagues through ranking calls and sport-specific meetings.

Munro, the outgoing Director of Athletics said, “I am excited for Natasha. She has the experience, passion, and ability to do great things with the program. She is liked and respected by colleagues at UNB Saint John, as well as in the ACAA and CCAA. She has developed many good community relationships which will be valuable in creating an activities hub for health and wellness. I am looking forward to watching Natasha and the rest of the staff do spectacular things in the future.”

Kelly said, “I cannot wait to get started. I have worked closely with David for several years and I am looking forward to growing the program and getting people excited again after the last two years of COVID-19. Recreation and sport are an important piece of the campus experience. We have been couped up for too long. It is time to bust out of COVID and show everyone the real school spirit at UNB Saint John.
