President Griffin Cassidy I’m a fourth-year winger for the men’s soccer team. I am pursuing my BBA with a major in accounting and a minor in economics here at UNB Saint John. As president, I am in charge of organizing council meetings, helping book and run our events, and making sure that the rest of our team has the support they need to ensure all our student-athletes can make UNBSJ feel like home. FUN FACT: I can solve a rubik's cube underwater.
Vice-President Joce Splitgerber I’m a fourth-year forward and captain for the Seawolves women’s soccer team. I am pursuing a Bachelor of Health with a major in biomedical sciences. I am the Vice President this year and will help oversee all activities we undertake to make our event plans for the year. FUN FACT: My name is spelled with a “C” because my parents didn’t want me to be called Jose.
Secretary Sydney Flower I’m a fourth-year middle on the Seawolves women’s volleyball team! I am pursuing a Bachelor of Health in Biomedical sciences here at UNB Saint John. As secretary, it’s my duty to keep track of council meeting information, document events that we run throughout the year, and to schedule our Seawolves fundraisers and senior games. FUN FACT: I love to cook, and I spend a lot of my spare time trying different recipes or making them up!
Student Representative Council (SRC) Liason Maddy Kline I’m a fourth-year on the women’s basketball team. I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science with a double major in biology and psychology. As SRC liaison, I help organize events and work together with our SRC and SAAC groups to collaborate and make the most out of our school year. FUN FACT: I love to be outside and going to different places to hike.
Community Outreach Coordinator Jenny Cripps I’m a fourth-year on the women’s basketball team. I am in the Bachelor of health program with a major in biomedical sciences. As SAAC’s community outreach coordinator, I help gather donations for the SAAC committee and set up events with the Saint John community. FUN FACT: My favourite colour is pink, and I love the summertime.
Treasurer Doyle Burton I’m a second-year student arts student here at UNBSJ and I play on the men’s basketball team. As the treasurer for SAAC, my role is to manage the council's budget and to work with our event sponsors and hosts to organize financial details. FUN FACT: I am terrified of heights and have never gone on a roller-coaster beacuase of that.
Social Media Coordinator Ethan Szemurda I’m a fourth-year year psychology student and will be playing my fourth-year on the men’s basketball team. My role this year is a social media representative, and I am responsible for game score updates and Seawolves sports updates that are posted to our social media accounts. FUN FACT: My favourite pregame meal is a double JBC from Wendy’s.
Social Media Coordinator Amy Carey I’m a fifth- year arts student here at UNBSJ, majoring in psychology and minoring in criminal justice. I am playing my fifth year of volleyball and play as a setter. As a social media representative for SAAC, I am responsible for managing all the game updates and social media content for Seawolves sporting events. FUN FACT: I am a Monster Energy ambassador.
